A Day in the Life
Accounting and Transactions
Record accounts receivable transactions including credit memos.
Record donations in the general ledger.
Process agency accounts for receivable credit card transactions.
Prepare daily bank deposits (transmittal or direct deposit).
Statement Distribution
Send monthly electronic statements to partner agencies.
Accounts Receivable Management
Monitor all agency accounts for open transactions, resolve issues and collect outstanding agency accounts receivable.
Manage detailed records on pledges and pledge payments.
Reporting and Communication
Process incoming mail and distribute it to appropriate parties.
Prepare and balance daily summary.
Participate in month-end closing.
Financial Oversight
Assist in management of petty cash.
