The Central Texas Food Bank is looking for a dynamic Donor Stewardship Coordinator. The primary objective of this position is to provide administrative, clerical, and project support for the Donor Relations team reporting to the Donor Relations Manager. This includes, but is not limited to coordinating logistics for donor mailings, gift stewardship, assisting with special event logistics, maintaining a procedures notebook, maintaining collateral inventory and managing administrative volunteers to ensure the department runs efficiently.

Job responsibilities

As the Donor Stewardship Coordinator you will:
-Provide excellent customer service to donors, volunteers and clients by responding to requests in a timely manner.
-Manage the donor acknowledgement process for all donor types, excluding restricted and community event gifts, across all donation delivery methods including but not limited to mail-in, online, stock transfer, wire transfer, tributes and third party processors. This includes planning and executing strategic donor stewardship events like the Loyal Donor Project as well as writing a new acknowledgement letter template each month.
-Ensure the quality, integrity and accuracy of donor and gift information by utilizing Raiser’s Edge and Luminate Online.
-Ensure the smooth running of the Donor Relations team through the maintenance and establishment of efficient systems and procedures documented in the Development Notebook.
-Organize all acknowledgement letter materials for Administrative Volunteers and distribute to them once a week (twice a week during the holiday season.) Maintain one trained Administration Volunteer Leader who will lead the other administrative volunteers through their tasks each week.
-Coordinate the three main public sector workplace giving campaigns that the Food Bank participates in, which includes submitting the applications, public speaking and representing the Food Bank at campaign events.
-Organize and maintain Resource Development inventory including collateral materials, electronic files, correspondence, postage and other team needs. This includes coordinating all in-house print projects with outside vendors and other duties as assigned by the Donor Relations Manager.

You are a great candidate if you have:
-Demonstrated organization skills and the ability to attend to details and meet deadlines
-Ability to communicate in a professional manner using excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
-Proficiency in the Microsoft office suite including expert skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
-Strong administrative, clerical, and data entry skills
-Flexibility in response to change, coordinating multiple, shifting priorities and adapt to and accommodate new methods and procedures
-A fast learner motived to understand problems and help find solutions
-Proven demonstration of good judgment and discretion
-A valid government-issued driver’s license and proof of auto liability insurance
-High school diploma or equivalent

Bonus points for:
-Experience with Raiser’s Edge NXT and Luminate Online or another fundraising management software
-Customer service experience
-Interest in fundraising as a career path
-Bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by an organization recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA)
