Description

As the Senior Microsoft Power Bi Developer, you will work to transform raw data into relevant insights via interactive and simple-to-understand dashboards and reports. You will work closely with members of the CFBNJ team to streamline and improve the existing reports and dashboards while helping to create the next generation of tools meet future needs.

Job responsibilities

Recognize business requirements in the context of BI and create data models to transform raw data into relevant insights.
Using MSFT Power BI, create dashboards and interactive visual reports.
Define key performance indicators (KPIs) with specific objectives and track them regularly.
Analyze data and display it in reports to aid decision-making.
Convert business needs into technical specifications and establish a timetable for job completion.
Create, test, and deploy MSFT Power BI scripts.
Use MSFT Power BI to run queries and functions.
Create charts and data documentation with explanations of algorithms, parameters, models, and relationships.
Manage and expand an existing data warehouse and cubes.

Application qualifications

At least 5 yrs. of targeted/specialized experience with Power BI/Business Analytics Reporting or other BI tools (or like systems)
Must be capable of traveling to work site in Hillside NJ.
Background with BI tools and systems such as MSFT Power BI or Tableau.
Understanding of the MSFT Power BI Stack
Mastery in data analytics
Analytical thinking for converting data into relevant reports and graphics.
Capable of enabling row-level data security
Knowledge of MSFT Power BI application security layer models
Ability to run queries on MSFT Power BI desktop.
Proficient in doing advanced-level computations on the data set.
Have a firm understanding of SQL.
Possess verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present, persuade and influence peers.
