Tony Robbins Provides Millions More Meals To Feeding America® To Help Families In Need

Robbins and Hunger-Relief Charity Partnering on 100 Million Meals Challenge and Encourage the Public to Match Robbins’ now 57 Million Meal Donation

November 12, 2015

Best-selling author, entrepreneur and philanthropist Tony Robbins has partnered with Feeding America, the nation’s largest domestic hunger-relief organization, to help provide 100 million meals* to families in need. Now in its final months, Robbins increased his personal commitment to 57 million meals to help inspire even more generosity to Feeding America. His goal is to provide the 100 million meals to Feeding America and its network of 200 local food banks before the December holidays this year.

All of the author's profits of his recently published book, MONEY Master the Game, have been donated in advance by Robbins, which in conjunction with an additional personal donation, will provide more than 57 million meals to those facing hunger this year. Food will be distributed through Feeding America’s network of food banks that reach every county in the United States.

“Feeding America is grateful for our partnership with Tony Robbins. Through the 100 Million Meals Challenge and his latest extraordinary gift, he has once again demonstrated his tremendous leadership and commitment to solving hunger,” said Diana Aviv, CEO of Feeding America. “Tony’s incredible generosity has inspired countless individuals across the country to join together and help ensure that every family has access to life-sustaining food and stability. Feeding America is honored to work alongside Tony in our shared vision of a hunger-free America.”

Tony Robbins faced food insecurity as a child and has supported the anti-hunger programs for more than three decades.

“It’s a tragedy that in the United States, the richest country in the world, 48 million people, including 15 million children, may go to bed unsure if they will have a meal tomorrow. I know that those are more than startling statistics -- those numbers are human beings suffering -- and I came from one of those families,” said Tony Robbins. “I’ve now worked with Feeding America for more than five years and I can tell you that their dedicated nationwide network serves every day to alleviate not only hunger but fear and uncertainty as well. I hope you’ll join us in this mission; together let’s create a deeper, lasting impact.”
