More than 65 million pounds of food flow through our operation every year, feeding hungry families in our surrounding communities. Our small and mighty team of 100+ employees across four locations, collectively serves 30 counties in Colorado and the entire state of Wyoming. We provide more than 145,000 meals each day to our friends and neighbors facing hunger.

The Programs Outreach Representative is responsible to achieve and maintain Feeding America’s compliance requirements and attain significant progress towards reducing the meal gap. To accomplish these objectives, this position serves as a liaison with county contacts and partner agencies in key geographic areas of Colorado to increase their food distribution capacity.

Further, the Programs Outreach Representative will be the primary point of contact for FBR’s online database (Link2Feed). This position will promote these services to new partners, support new partner launches, provide technical support as needed and conduct onsite training to improve knowledge and efficacy.

Job responsibilities

What You’ll Do:
•Performs data entry, partner agency training, and serves as administrator in Link2Feed.
•Attends and engages in community meetings to ensure FBR’s mission is communicated within the community, while strengthening relationships within the community.
•Research, evaluate and compile data as it relates to complete County and Partner profile information, and the same information as it relates to partnering agencies. o Establish and maintain effective relationships within 3-4 counties each quarter.
•Processes applications for all new partner agencies; follow up by phone or email with applicants on missing information; track incomplete and complete applications on SmartSheet
•Strategically plan and recommend partnering agency consolidation actions with the objective of increasing food distribution pounds/meals and alleviating or minimize overhead transportation and/or associated expenses. Such plans will include, but are not limited to:◦Sequential process steps for optimal achievement of objectives.
◦Creative and productive processes to ensure successful execution.
◦Predetermined metrics to provide detailed analysis and balance between return-on-investment for increased services and decreased expenses.
◦Recommend adjustments to plans and processes based upon analyzed outcomes.
◦Analyzing metrics for new and existing partner agencies, as well as gap analysis for Divisions/Programs
◦Develop partner agencies recognition levels
◦Prepare and maintain agency data for the Annual Partner Agency Dashboard.
◦Set and analyze performance metrics for all partner agencies.
◦Recommend pairings for grocery store retail donations.
◦Backup for placing order for each mobile pantry distribution and distribution processes.
◦Prepare briefings, newsletters, reports and presentations for potential partnering organizations, donors, internal senior management members and other governing parties.

Application qualifications

Ideal Candidates Will Have:
•High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree a plus
•2-5 years’ experience successfully leading projects or programs
•Non-profit experience preferred
•Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language fluently, and communicate
verbally and in writing at a professional level
•Comfortable speaking and presenting to a group.
•Extensive experience using Microsoft Office Suite; advanced knowledge of Excel preferred
•Experience using collaborative tools for file storage and sharing, meeting scheduling, and virtual
collaboration; prior experience with SmartSheet a plus
•Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
