Feeding America names Brit Videbeck as chief supply chain officer

November 18, 2025

Brit Videbeck has been named Feeding America’s chief supply chain officer. Videbeck has over 15 years of senior leadership experience in supply chain operations, sourcing, logistics and strategic planning across national retail and distribution networks. He joins Feeding America from Away Travel, where he served as chief supply chain officer and oversaw North American and U.K. operations and delivered major efficiencies, including significant cost reductions and improved product availability.

“Brit has a proven record of solving complex supply chain challenges that will help ensure people facing hunger have access to the fresh, nutritious food they need to thrive,” said Claire Babineaux-Fontenot, Feeding America chief executive officer. “His experience in navigating supply chain disruptions and reducing costs will drive impact as we work to efficiently source a greater variety of fresh, preferred foods and support Feeding America network food banks to streamline operations, reduce costs and strengthen disaster response.”

As chief supply chain officer, Videbeck will lead national efforts to expand access to nutritious food by modernizing sourcing, distribution, technology and shared infrastructure across the Feeding America network. He will be responsible for enhancing food rescue, regional sourcing and logistics, and ensuring that food is distributed more predictably through more real time planning and forecasting.

“I’m thrilled to be joining Feeding America’s amazing team and look forward to contributing towards helping people get the food and resources they need,” said Videbeck.

Prior to his role at Away, Videbeck served as vice president of operations and chief of staff to the CEO at The RoomPlace, where he led large-scale warehouse and logistics teams and spearheaded productivity, customer service and HR transformation initiatives. He also spent more than 13 years at Walgreens, progressing through a range of senior roles in the Supply Chain division, including Director of Development, where he led major initiatives in capacity planning, automation, and mergers and acquisitions integration.

Beyond his professional achievements, Videbeck is deeply engaged in the community. He currently serves on the boards of CYN Counseling Center in Grayslake, IL, which provides mental health counseling to children, young adults, and families, and The Boulevard of Chicago, which offers medical respite services to recently discharged hospital patients.

Videbeck has a Master of Business Administration from DePaul University and a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
