As Senior Vice President of Human Resources Operations at Feeding America, Laura oversees a broad range of human resources functions, including talent acquisition and onboarding, benefits administration, payroll, policy administration & compliance, safety and security and employee relations. Her passion for HR lies at the intersection of the employee life cycle, aligning talent to organizational needs, and delivering meaningful work experiences. Laura joined Feeding America in 2014 after more than 15 years in the healthcare industry, with experience in mental health services at Hamilton Center, Inc. in Indiana and in traditional healthcare roles in Chicago. Prior to Feeding America, she served as Director of Compensation and Benefits for Vanguard Health Systems, leading compensation and benefits operations across the Chicago and New England regions, with an emphasis on talent integration during mergers and acquisitions.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Psychology from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College, an MBA from Indiana State University, and a Master of Science in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Purdue University. She has also earned multiple professional certifications from the Society for Human Resource Management, the American Payroll Association and WorldatWork, reflecting her commitment to excellence and ongoing professional development in the HR field.
