The Food Bank of Wyoming’s Driver/ Warehouse will be instrumental in supporting Casper, Wyoming distribution center. This position will consist of roughly 60% driving duties and 40% warehouse duties. When not on their set routes the driver will cover other day runs as needed and assist with warehouse duties. The driver will be comfortable driving in all weather conditions and will frequently interact with volunteers, Hunger Relief Partners, and the public.

The mission of Food Bank of Wyoming is to ignite the power of community to nourish people facing hunger. We provide food and necessities to people in need through signature programs and by teaming up with hundreds of Hunger Relief Partners to serve communities across Wyoming. Primary Responsibilities:
•Maintain food industry standards and certification for proper product handling, storage, and distribution in accordance with Food Bank of Wyoming and Feeding America Standards.
•Drive a tractor 48'-53' Trailer combinations to respective locations throughout Wyoming with occasional overnights required.
•Unload and load food at external locations, working closely with the Food Bank of Wyoming team, partner agencies, and volunteers according to delivery specifications and within Food Bank of Wyoming policies.
•Responsible for maintaining driver ELD on Samsara, Pre-Trip inspections, and other maintenance schedules according to DOT regulations.
•Maintain an organized, clean, and sanitized cab, cargo area, and food-handling equipment.
•Maintain receipts, invoices, and other required paperwork for each site. Turning them in
•Assists with warehouse duties:
a. Stocking shelves, record keeping, waste, inventory counts, sanitation.
b. Equipment, building, and grounds
c. Perform all other duties as assigned or delegated

•Frequently driving and operating vehicles including but not limited to tractor, trailer, and box truck
•Frequently work in outdoor and warehouse environments
•Use of heavy equipment daily including forklift, stand-up/sit-down lift truck, step-up pallet jack, and automatic pallet jack
•Frequently lift or move 50 pounds
•Frequently operating and navigating a vehicle within rural communities
•Occasionally use office equipment such as computer, mouse, keyboard, and printer
Required Qualifications:
•High School diploma or equivalent required
•Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License with a valid DOT Medical Card and excellent driving record
•Must be at least 21 years old
•Prior experience working in commercial driving is strongly preferred
•Prior experience working in a warehouse environment is strongly preferred
•Forklift experience and certification a plus
Compensation:
$23.75 - $26.00 per hour
