Meet Mya, Manager of Commodity & Federal Nutrition Programs
Mya Price began her journey with Feeding America in 2013 as a Child Hunger Corps Member with God's Pantry Food Bank in her hometown of Lexington, Kentucky. Her deepened passion for this mission brought her back to Feeding America in which she now works as a Manager, Commodity & Federal Nutrition Programs on our Government Relations Team. She is based in our D.C. office and is happy to bring her Southern charm, Kentucky roots, diverse expertise, and food bank experience to combat hunger across our nation.
Meet Matt, VP of Strategic Capacity Development
A native of Louisiana, Matt has an unsurprising passion for food and for those who grow, harvest, prepare and share it. A career non-profit professional and accidental fundraiser, Matt came to Feeding America from the North Texas Food Bank in Dallas. At Feeding America, Matt leads a team that works closely with food banks to help them achieve their strategic growth goals. He dreams of being a gentleman farmer and owning a Flemish Giant rabbit.
Meet Lani, Senior Manager of Communication and Entertainment Industry Relations
Lani has been at Feeding America since Fall 2017 and in that time, she has worked with a variety of Corporate Partners and Entertainment Industry members to raise awareness and funds in the fight to end hunger across the United States. She enjoys waking up with a mission every day and working alongside others with a shared goal. Lani was able to bring her background working in Entertainment Public Relations in Los Angeles to Feeding America, where she works alongside our Entertainment Council to host volunteer events and utilize social media as a platform for actors, athletes, celebrity chefs, and musicians to spread the word about the issue of hunger in America. In her spare time, she likes to travel and hunt down unique home goods at flea markets and antique stores.
