September is Hunger Action Month® – a time when communities across the country come together to raise awareness and take action against hunger. At Feeding America, we’re fortunate to have generous partners who are stepping up in meaningful ways to support our mission. Through their unique campaigns, you can get involved and help nourish futures.
Here’s how our partners are making an impact this Hunger Action Month:
BoxLunch
Calling all Shrek fans! BoxLunch is offering a special edition Funko Pop this Hunger Action Month. Beginning Sept. 9., for every collectible Shrek Funko Pop sold, BoxLunch will help provide at least 10 meals ($1) to people facing hunger through the Feeding America network of food banks. Also, year-round at BoxLunch stores and online, for every $10 spent across the retailers' pop-culture themed products, BoxLunch will help provide one meal to people facing hunger through the Feeding America network of food banks. Customers can also round up their purchase at the register and online. Sept. 9 – 30, 2024
Coinstar
Through their Coins that Count® program, Coinstar makes it easy for consumers to donate directly at participating kiosks, turning spare change into meaningful contributions to the movement to end hunger. Take action this Hunger Action Month and your donations through Coinstar will help support families experiencing hunger across the nation.
CVS
CVS is dedicated to supporting healthy communities. Beginning Sept. 8 at participating CVS stores, customers can donate $1 or $3 at the checkout register. Donations will support local food banks and programs that support people facing hunger.
The Fresh Market
Throughout September, guests at The Fresh Market’s 160 stores will have the opportunity to round up their total at the register to the nearest dollar or make a donation amount of their choice. Every dollar donated helps to provide 10 meals for families facing hunger through the Feeding America network of food banks. Sept. 1 – 30, 2024
Fresh Thyme Market
This September, Fresh Thyme Market is helping nourish communities through their register round-up campaign. Shoppers at Fresh Thyme can round up their purchase to the nearest dollar, with 90 percent of donated funds supporting local Feeding America food banks based on the store’s location and the remaining 10 percent powering the Feeding America national office’s initiatives. The GIANT Company
The GIANT Company is making it easy for customers to give back with their Millions of Meals campaign. When customers buy $15 of select products at any GIANT, MARTIN’S or GIANT Heirloom Market or shop online, they’ll get $5 off their purchase -- and $10 will be donated to Feeding America. With 90 percent of funds supporting local food banks and 10 percent powering the Feeding America national organization’s efforts, the Millions of Meals campaign will help families in need. The Kroger Co. Zero Hunger | Zero Waste Foundation
Your grocery trip can give back! Now through Sept. 31, 2024, shoppers can help support their local food bank by rounding up their purchase or donating $1, $3, or $5 at the register in the Kroger family of stores, excluding Ruler and Harris Teeter locations. Sept. 1 – 30, 2024
Navy Federal Credit Union
Now through Oct. 31, Navy Federal Credit Union invites communities to participate in the No Plate Left Behind campaign by donating at a Navy Federal branch, scanning QR codes on printed material or digital signs or going online to www.noplateleftbehind.com for a special augmented reality experience. Pampered Chef
Pampered Chef is committed to setting a place at the table for everyone through their Round-Up from the Heart® campaign. Beginning Sept. 1, Pampered Chef will offer a new product bundle, the Give Back Set. On Sept. 17 at 7 p.m. (CT), Pampered Chef will host a special live-streamed “Test Kitchen Live” broadcast featuring budget-friendly meal ideas. For every registered live-stream and every Give Back Set purchased, Pampered Chef will donate $1 to Feeding America. Sept. 1, 2024 – Aug. 31, 2025
QVC & Housewares Charity Foundation
QVC and Housewares Charity Foundation are teaming up again for the fourth year through their Living for Giving event. Kicking off on Sept. 18, this special shopping event offers a chance to give back, with a minimum of 70 percent of the purchase price of select housewares supporting the Feeding America network. On Sept. 25, QVC will host a special live-streamed “Living for Giving” broadcast featuring more products that, when purchased, support Feeding America. Sept. 18 - Dec. 31, 2024
Reynold’s
From Sept. 23 to Sept. 30, 2024, when shoppers purchase any Reynolds product, they’ll be helping the movement to end hunger. For every product sold, Reynolds will donate $0.10 to Feeding America, with a goal of contributing up to $150,000. Sept. 23 – 30, 2024
