The Cheesecake Factory Takes To The Road To Support Feeding America With The Drive Out Hunger Tour

During Hunger Action Month this September, The Cheesecake Factory will visit 30 cities in 30 days on the"Drive Out Hunger" Tour collecting soup cans in support of Feeding America, the nation's largest hunger-relief charity. As an incentive, the first 500 attendees to donate two cans of soup at each tour event will receive a complimentary slice of the restaurant's new Stefanie's Ultimate Red Velvet Cake Cheesecake™.

Prior to the tour's official start in Los Angeles on September 1, The Cheesecake Factory will kick-off the"Drive Out Hunger" Tour on August 31with a star-studded event at its headquarters in Calabasas Hills, CA featuring actor David Arquette who serves as Feeding America's Entertainment Council Chairman. The kick-off event will also include a live performance by Interscope recording artist Tamar Kaprelian whose hit single, 'New Day,' will serve as the tour anthem.

The"Drive Out Hunger" Tour will travel coast-to-coast visiting a different Cheesecake Factory restaurant each day in September. The tour will conclude September 30in Washington, D.C. followed by an announcement of the total number of soup cans collected throughout the month. As the tour comes to a close, all Cheesecake Factory restaurants nationwide will invite guests to support their local food bank with the 'You Dine, We Donate' event. On September 30, guests who bring in two cans of soup when they dine at any Cheesecake Factory will have 10 percent of their guest check donated to the local food bank.
