This is a full-time (36-40 hour weekly), non-exempt position located in Bath, MI. Work hours are generally during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend hours for special events, agency visits or conferences.

Job responsibilities

• Provide customer service to agencies including in-person, virtual, phone, and email communications
• Assist in troubleshooting online ordering and providing technical assistance as needed
• Learn the inventory and ordering system, P2
• Complete regular compliance and monitoring duties as required for internal record keeping and external agency partnerships
• Support manager with distributing and obtaining application agreements and conducting initial site visits
• Assist with annual membership renewal process
• Maintain agency files in prescribed methods as approved by Feeding America
• Provide department support in the planning of annual agency conferences
• Maintain updated agency contact detail updating reported changes regularly
• Reporting and training on direct retail pickups
• Ensure food safety training and annual civil rights training are successfully completed by all partners
• Maintain accurate SOP’s for departmental duties
• Track statistics reported by partners on a monthly basis
• Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties in this job classification

Application qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or applicable social/services program and/or 3+ years of equivalent experience; preference given to work experience in nonprofits
• Dependable with a high level of organizational skills and attention to detail
• Well-organized and self-directed, with the ability to manage time in a flexible and efficient manner, multi-task to meet deadlines and accomplish work in order or priority with attention to detail and accuracy
• Understand policy and procedure development process and significance of organizational compliance
• Strong organizational and written/oral skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with an aptitude to learn new technology systems (accounts receivable experience a plus)
• Regional travel and professional dress will be required
• Experience with food safety regulations; preferred ServSafe management or ability to obtain
