About Feeding America

Our vision is an America where no one is hungry.

Our mission is to advance change in America by ensuring equitable access to nutritious food for all in partnership with food banks, policymakers, supporters, and the communities we serve.

The Feeding America network reaches every county in the country. Our programs help provide meals to children, seniors, families, and survivors of natural disasters.

The leaders of Feeding America on the board of directors and our executive team are dedicated individuals from a variety of backgrounds – all dedicated to creating a hunger-free America.

With the support of our generous partners, the Feeding America network is meeting the needs of families across the country and helping them find the strength to move forward and flourish.

Feeding America is a nationwide network of food banks, food pantries, and meal programs. Together, we provide food and support to over 40 million people annually.

Feeding America is proud to be rated so highly by esteemed watchdog organizations like the Better Business Bureau and Charity Navigator.

Every dollar donated to Feeding America helps distribute 10 meals to our neighbors facing hunger. How is it possible just $1 can provide so much?

What began in 1979 as a clearinghouse for national food donations is now the nation’s largest domestic hunger-relief organization—a powerful and efficient network of anti-hunger organizations.

In the interest of transparency and accountability, Feeding America makes our financial statements public for you to see our successes and efficiencies.
