Gift giving during the holidays can be a wonderful tradition. Seeing your friend or family member’s face light up when they open that perfect gift is a wonderful feeling. But, a less-wonderful feeling is being stumped on what to get that picky person in your life. Luckily, Feeding America has you covered this year! We’ve got some suggestions for unique gifts that will wow the pickiest people and will help fight hunger at the same time, as well highlighting stores that make it easy to donate at the register.
Check out these gifts that give back in 2021:
For the ravioli-lover in your life
And who doesn’t know a ravioli lover? Not a ravioli lover? How about shells or bowtie pasta? Regardless of your favorite pasta, Crate and Barrel has you covered. From ravioli to rigatoni, these porcelain ornaments are not only beautiful but help you skip the carbs and trim your tree instead. Beginning November 18th through December 26, you can donate online or at the register, and Crate and Barrel will donate $10 from every purchase of the Papa Leo’s Pasta Ornament set to Feeding America. They're sure to make the holidays shine for all the foodies on your list.
For that person with baby-soft skin
Have a friend or family member whose skincare regimen is lovingly long? Do they have soft, radiant skin that is constantly perky and smooth? That’s amazing! Please ask that person to teach us the ways of getting baby-soft skin. In the meantime, through the end of the year, Kiehl’s will donate $1 to Feeding America from the sale of the Limited-Edition Merry Masking or Hydration Starter Kit charitable gift sets. Shopping at Kiehl’s but not purchasing a charitable gift set? You can still make a donation to Feeding America at the register.
For anyone who knows how to make a sourdough starter
Over the last year or so, many of us have been exploring new talents and hobbies. While some took up painting or running, others have ventured into baking. From making cakes to baking loaves of hearty bread, baking is a great way to unwind – and make lots of friends who want to try your baked goods! For those bakers (new or old) in your life, Pampered Chef will help provide at least 10 meals* to Feeding America for each Stone Loaf Pan, Stoneware Starter Set, or Quick Bread Set sold. Cooking Show guests can also round up their online order to the nearest dollar or more.
For anyone who likes a nice meal out
Whether you’re a barbecue lover or a pasta fanatic, a good meal out is always a fun gift. And it’s a nice way to spice up date night, spend time with friends or take some much-needed “me” time. This year, 3% of the amount loaded onto Giving Good Cards will be donated to Feeding America.
For that one person with very specific tastes
Shopping for someone who wants that third edition-limited-collectors-deluxe-item and you just can’t quite remember what it is or if you’re getting the right one? Give them exactly what they want while making a difference for people facing hunger. Set Feeding America as your AmazonSmile charitable organization. When you shop at smile.amazon.com you get all the same products, prices, and shopping features as Amazon and the AmazonSmile Foundation donate each time you make a purchase on eligible products.
Want to donate at the register or just give back while doing your holiday shopping?
Any in-store donations at American Eagle and Aerie will go directly to the local food bank. You can also donate while shopping online. Looking for more register donation opportunities? Check out the campaigns above.
