In 2026, Starbucks, a Feeding America Leadership Partner and Food Rescue Fund founding partner, celebrates the 10th anniversary of FoodShare, their food donation program that ensures that perfectly good, safe-to-eat-food—often at risk of being wasted—is shared with neighbors. In 2025, Starbucks and Feeding America were recognized with two Halo Awards, presented by Engage for Good, for Best Food Insecurity Initiative and Best of the Best initiative between for-profit and nonprofit organizations for FoodShare.

Since it's inception, FoodShare has donated more than 121 million meals to local communities across the U.S., rescuing 144 million pounds of food.

Starbucks has reinvested more than $100 million into hunger relief and food waste reduction, supporting local food bank infrastructure, logistics and capacity across the nationwide Feeding Americas network.
