Enterprise Mobility Foundation

The Enterprise Mobility Foundation has supported the mission to end hunger for many years through a long-standing partnership with the Feeding America food bank network.

In 2016, the Enterprise Mobility Foundation became a national Feeding America partner as part of Enterprise Mobility’s Fill Your Tank program. Through the program, more than $90 million has been granted globally to 670 organizations, including Feeding America, providing crucial resources like strategic investments, local grants and volunteer support.

“Food is a fundamental human need—it’s a core social issue and it impacts all age groups,” said Theresa Beldner, Vice President of Foundation Operations at Enterprise Mobility. “We support a future without hunger and Feeding America is one of the overarching partners to help us achieve that goal.”

The Enterprise Mobility Foundation, a Feeding America Visionary Partner, recently renewed its support of Feeding America with a $30 million commitment through 2030 to support several key areas, including senior hunger, child hunger and home delivery programs to help improve neighbor access and experience.

Providing Research-led Thought Leadership
In addition, their support helps drive Feeding America’s research efforts, including the senior hunger analyses for our annual Map the Meal Gap study, which estimates 7.4 million seniors (ages 60 and older) and 5.2 million older adults (ages 50 to 59) experienced food insecurity in 2023. The Enterprise Mobility Foundation’s grant funding also supports thought leadership, as well as data and storytelling to educate people about the nation’s hunger crisis, which finds 47 million people facing hunger.

By 2030, more than $210 million will be granted through the Fill Your Tank program to key partners, as well as local food banks and food programs in local communities throughout Enterprise Mobility’s 70+ operating groups in North America and Europe.

A Senior Hunger Champion
Insights from Feeding America’s research inform our efforts to eliminate senior hunger. According to the latest Map the Meal Gap study, 12.6 million seniors and older adults experience food insecurity in America

Recognized as Feeding America’s senior hunger champion, the Enterprise Mobility Foundation has powered our senior hunger strategy, addressing barriers to fair food access for seniors experiencing food insecurity. The strategy addresses food insecurity among older adults by increasing access to nutritious food, collaborating with local food banks, advocating for policy changes, and implementing programs tailored to seniors' needs.

With its extraordinary multi-year commitment, the Enterprise Mobility Foundation has helped enable Feeding America to double the number of seniors served annually. Here’s a snapshot of the impact on senior hunger that the Fill Your Tank program helped food banks achieve in 2024, alone:

  • Total seniors served to date: 1,279,000
  • Total senior meals served to date: 213 million

“There is a broad need to support food insecurity and senior hunger is a major gap,” Beldner said. “Food is the foundation to a person’s health and this space is critical for us to support.”

Improving Access and Neighbor Experience
Everyone deserves dignified access to food. The Feeding America network prioritizes the dignity of people who experience food insecurity so we can transform the charitable food system together. The Enterprise Mobility Foundation’s support helps target the vital work to build the capacity of network members to gather and act on insights shared by neighbors in their communities facing hunger. In fiscal year 2025, for example, the funding from the Enterprise Mobility Foundation supported home delivery programs at partner food banks.

“Hunger is a complex issue and supporting the communities where we live and work really helps bolster these programs,” Beldner said. “You may not know your neighbor is facing hunger. Supporting hunger is one way we can help make our neighborhoods stronger. We’re here to help where and when we can to make an impact.”
