For over 20 years, Walmart and the Walmart Foundation have made significant contributions to help strengthen the charitable meal sector in North America. Walmart and Sam’s Club have provided more than 9 billion pounds in food donations to support Feeding America, and together with the Walmart Foundation have contributed more than $281 million in grants. Since the launch of the Fight Hunger. Spark Change. campaign in 2014, Walmart, Sam’s Club, participating suppliers, customers and members have cumulatively raised more than $227 million for Feeding America and its network of local food banks.
