In consideration of Feeding America, Inc.’s (Feeding America) recognition and posting of my “Share Your Story” submission and for allowing my participation in the Share Your Story Campaign, I (hereinafter, “Share Your Story Campaign Participant”), and/or legal guardian(s) of Share Your Story Campaign Participant, hereby executes and agrees to this publicity release, assignment and waiver of rights.
The Share Your Story Campaign Participant, or the parent(s) and/or legal guardian(s) (hereinafter “Guardian(s)”) for any Share Your Story Campaign Participant younger than eighteen (18) years of age, hereby fully transfers and assigns all rights, including copyrights, to the “story,” message, and/or related material to Feeding America in perpetuity. In connection therewith, the Share Your Story Campaign Participant or Guardian hereby waives any and all rights in and ownership of the “story,” message, or related material supplied to Feeding America in connection with their participation in the Share Your Story Campaign. The Share Your Story Campaign Participant hereby acknowledges that the “story,” message, and/or related material provided to Feeding America for use in connection with the Share Your Story Campaign are original and do not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party. Share Your Story Campaign Participant agrees to be further bound by the Feeding America Privacy Policy.
By my/our signature hereon, I or my Guardian(s) grants Feeding America the right to make use of the message and photo without obligation to pay me/us for such use in connection with advertising, promotion and/or publicity, either now or at any time in the future. The Share Your Story Campaign Participant, and/or the Guardian(s) further release Feeding America, its agents, contractors, servants, and employees from any and all claims arising directly or indirectly out of Feeding America’s use of the message and photo.
By signing on behalf of a participant less than 18 years old, the parent(s)/guardian(s) expressly agree(s) to all of the above. I have read this Transfer of Rights, Waiver, and Release and understand its meaning.
