Feeding America board of directors welcomes Guy Peri and Mary Snapp

Feeding America announced today that Guy Peri and Mary Snapp have joined its national Board of Directors. Peri, chief information & digital officer for McCormick and Company, and Snapp, former corporate vice president of Microsoft Philanthropies within Microsoft Corporation, begin their two-year terms on July 1, the beginning of Feeding America’s 2027 fiscal year.

Guy Peri – Peri is the chief information & digital officer of McCormick & Company, where he leads the company’s digital transformation strategy and enterprise technology, including data and AI, digital commerce, supply chain operations, and information security across more than 150 countries. Over the course of a 30-year career spanning McCormick and Procter & Gamble, Peri has been a pioneer in applying data science, machine learning, and AI at scale to drive measurable business impact. As P&G’s first chief data and analytics officer, he built an industry-leading analytics organization recognized by the International Institute of Analytics and earned multiple CIO 100 Awards, including the 2025 Consumer Goods Technology Visionary Award. Peri is a recognized voice on data, AI, and digital transformation, with work featured in the Wall Street Journal, Harvard Business Review, Fortune, and Bloomberg. He is a guest lecturer at Harvard Business School, where a P&G data science case study is now part of the MBA curriculum. Peri is looking forward to applying his expertise in technology and AI to support Feeding America's mission. The organization's commitment to addressing hunger at scale through innovation, collaboration, and community impact aligns closely with both his personal values and professional purpose.

Mary Snapp – Snapp brings more than 35 years of experience at the forefront of technology, law, and philanthropy. As deputy general counsel at Microsoft, she led large-scale mergers and acquisitions and provided critical counsel across intellectual property, antitrust, marketing, and privacy — including engagement with international, federal, and state government leaders. She went on to become the first leader of Microsoft’s Global Philanthropies, focusing on STEM education and technology access for nonprofits around the world, and most recently served as a Microsoft ambassador for the responsible and safe use of AI and rural opportunity across the United States. Notably, Snapp was Microsoft’s fourth attorney and its first female lawyer. She has served on the boards of numerous nonprofit organizations in human services, youth development, agricultural innovation, and the arts, including the National 4-H Council, the FFA Corporate Sponsors Board, Farm Foundation, Emerging Prairie, the YWCA of King/Snohomish County, the Seattle Art Museum and Washington STEM. Snapp is eager to bring her expertise in technology, public policy, and community investment to help Feeding America deepen its impact for neighbors facing hunger across the country.
