Mary Snapp brings more than 35 years of experience at the forefront of technology, law and philanthropy. As corporate vice president and deputy general counsel at Microsoft, she led large-scale mergers and acquisitions and provided critical counsel across intellectual property, antitrust, marketing and privacy — including engagement with international, federal and state government leaders. She went on to become the first leader of Microsoft’s Global Philanthropies, focusing on STEM education and technology access for nonprofits around the world, and most recently served as a Microsoft ambassador for the responsible and safe use of AI and rural opportunity across the United States. Notably, Snapp was Microsoft’s fourth attorney and its first female lawyer. She has served on the boards of numerous nonprofit organizations in human services, youth development, agricultural innovation and the arts, including the National 4-H Council, the FFA Corporate Sponsors Board, Farm Foundation, Emerging Prairie, the YWCA of King/Snohomish County, the Seattle Art Museum and Washington STEM. Snapp is eager to bring her expertise in technology, public policy and community investment to help Feeding America deepen its impact for neighbors facing hunger across the country.
