Guy Peri leads development of McCormick’s digital transformation strategy and enterprise information technology. This includes data & AI strategy, digital consumer experience (digital commerce/DTC capabilities), digital operations (supply chain – SAP S4 HANA, work process transformations), digital go-to-market (in-store execution), digital product innovation, and information security/stewardship.
Before joining McCormick, Guy served as CIO for Procter & Gamble’s Health Care Sector and, prior to that, served as P&G’s first Chief Data & Analytics Officer responsible for the creation and implementation of P&G’s enterprise data/analytics strategy, architecture, data science, and data management capabilities. A pioneer in embedding machine learning algorithms at scale into key decision processes, Guy developed capabilities that enabled strategic and operational insights and optimized outcomes across P&G’s activity system.
Guy began his career with P&G as a Laundry Business Analyst. He had assignments across multiple businesses (Fabric & Home Care, Hair Care, Fem Care), regions (NA, Europe, Asia), and IT domains (app development, operations, data center infrastructure/cloud transformation, PLM/ERP, and data/analytics, including GenAI). He led P&G’s Digital Marketing Strategy for the Fabric & Home Care Business, where he created HomeMadeSimple.com and Tide Fabric Care Network. He then moved to Israel to lead Business Intelligence for the region and establish the Israel House of Innovation before returning to Cincinnati to run the Corporate Strategic Project Management organization. Later Guy led P&G’s global analytics organization responsible for providing analytic solutions for all of P&G’s business units and Vice-Chairs. He led its transformation as part of an industry-leading Business Intelligence/Analytics journey.
Under Guy’s leadership, P&G received the first-ever Leadership in Analytics Award by The International Institute of Analytics. His teams have also been recognized with multiple CIO 100 Awards, including the 2025 Consumer Goods Technology Visionary Award. Guy has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Harvard Business Review, CNN, Bloomberg, Fortune and other publications, on topics related to business application of technology, data, analytics, and AI. Guy is a guest lecturer at Harvard Business School, where a P&G data science case study is now part of the MBA curriculum.
Guy is actively involved in community and professional boards and believes that leadership is about serving others to achieve their full potential. His international experience in Europe, the Middle East and Asia has taught him the power of diversity as a strategy. He believes in humble confidence, developing others, a focus on outcomes and accountability.
