Project 7, http://www.project7.com, is pleased to announce their partnership with Feeding America, http://www.feedingamerica.org, the nation's leading domestic hunger-relief charity. Feeding America has been instrumental in leading the fight against hunger here on the home front by providing food to more than 37 million Americans each year. Project 7 makes everyday products that give back to seven areas for good around the globe, including FEED The Hungry. By joining forces, Feeding America will help Project 7 make a broader impact by distributing its FEED The Hungry funds and meals not just regionally but to all parts of the United States.

Making this partnership a reality is a very important accomplishment to Tyler Merrick, CEO and founder of Project 7, says Merrick,"We have been working for a very long time to build this partnership with Feeding America and we are thankful that things came together. It is hard to believe that 1 in 6 Americans and 1 in 5 children battle hunger in America. We are looking forward to making an impact with Feeding America on the need that is at hand."

Started in 2008 by Tyler Merrick, Project 7 is a consumer goods company that was built to harness the power of consumption in order to make an impact in our communities with simple everyday purchases. Tyler believed in building a brand about others and sought to give people a high quality product at a competitive price and one that gives back at the same time. For every purchase of a Project 7 product, good is done in seven areas of need in the United States - Feed the Hungry, Heal the Sick, Hope for Peace, House the Homeless, Save the Earth, Quench the Thirsty and Teach them Well. The products include mints, gum, coffee, water and tees and are distributed nationally in over 7,000 stores from coffee shops and bookstores to mass retailers including Wal Mart and Target.
