Feeding America today announced the appointment of Janet Gibbs as Chief Financial Officer. Feeding America is the nation's leading and largest hunger relief organization, providing more than 2 billion pounds of food and grocery products to more than 25 million Americans annually, through a network of 206 food banks that serve every community in the nation.

A highly-experienced strategic leader, Janet joins Feeding America from CFO Solutions in Chicago, where she was responsible for providing financial reporting, analysis, cost savings and process improvement services tor not-for-profit and other organizations.

Gibbs previously served at the Associate Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer for the American Bar Association; Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer at Loyola University in Chicago; Vice President, Business and Fiscal Affairs at Wright State University; and University Controller at The Ohio State University.

Gibbs is a CPA and received her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Cincinnati. She is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
