General Mills’ Outnumber Hunger

Outnumber Hunger logo

General Mills, Big Machine Label Group and Feeding America are excited to kick off the fifth year of Outnumber Hunger, a national initiative that helps fight hunger in local communities. Since 2011, Outnumber Hunger has helped Feeding America secure more than 40 million meals for local food banks. This powerful group of partners is once again joining forces to rally Americans to help the 48 million people across the country who struggle with hunger. That’s one in seven Americans.

Starting March 28, 2016 specially marked packages of General Mills products featuring spokesperson Jennifer Nettles and other Big Machine Label Group artists will include an Outnumber Hunger code that gives people the opportunity to help Feeding America secure five meals* for their local food bank.

For every code entered between now and January 31, 2017, Feeding America® will secure five meals* on behalf of local food banks.

*For every code entered by January 31, 2017, $0.45 will be donated to Feeding America®– enough to secure 5 meals on behalf of local food banks. Maximum total donation of $1,200,000. General Mills has already donated $500,000 and will donate up to an additional $700,000 based on online code entry and other consumer actions.
