Hello, SAIC Hunger Champions!
As a partner of Feeding America, SAIC is dedicated to helping end hunger, and I'm honored to serve as your executive sponsor for our annual fundraising campaign, the SAIC Give-A-Meal Team Challenge.
It's important to note that the U.S. Department of Agriculture has reported that 34 million people, including 1 in 10 adults and 1 in 8 children, are facing hunger in the United States. This issue affects many people nationwide, and it's possible that it may even affect someone you know.
As we aim to raise $180,000 to assist in ending hunger in the communities where our employees and customers live, I encourage you to join me and your colleagues in this effort. SAIC will match all employee contributions up to $180,000, doubling our impact.
The Give-a-Meal Team Challenge begins on September 1st and will continue until the end of the month. Share your fundraising story on social media using #GiveAMealSAIC and #HungerActionMonth to help spread the word.
