When All Kids Eat for Free | The Atlantic

I remember as a kid some kids had red lunch tickets and some that had blue tickets. The blue tickets were the kids who were part of the School Lunch Program getting free or reduced-price lunch. The Atlantic examines school districts that are offering free meals to all students to reduce the stigma. This is happening in the midst of Congress looking to change to rule and barring thousands of schools from offering this benefit.

On Mother's Day, President Obama Addresses "Diaper Gap" | CBS News

One of the issues President Obama is prioritizing in the final days of his presidency is providing diapers to low-income families. He recently created the Community Diaper Program which Feeding America is a partner organization. Right before Mother's Day, he spoke with CBS News about the initiative.
