Description

Oversees and monitors the integrity of the organization’s IT systems to report accurate financial activity, inventory and distribution records, and fund-raising data; manages the design and development of Ceres operations and financial reports; provides hardware, software, and telecommunication support for the HCFB staff, and performs analysis and implementation of proposed software solutions.

Job responsibilities

• Ensure core data systems are fully operational.
• Responsible for data integrity and security of information systems.
• Sets data and systems architecture for organization.
• Plans and implements infrastructure for future information and communication needs of the organization.
• Assists staff with usage of systems and technology.
• Design, develop, test, and implement dynamic reports, using Jet Reports for the Ceres product.
• Evaluate software alternatives for proposed technological upgrades, including project management with software implementations;
• Lead and manage small teams in system conversions and expansions as the IT project manager.
• Analyze and debug data errors in the database applications.
• Act as liaison with HCFB third-party service, software and hardware providers along with Feeding America MBS.
• Train staff on new and existing software applications.
• Execute technical side of on-boarding and off-boarding of employees.
• Video surveillance system administrator.
• Phone system administrator.
• Execute and solve support service tickets for internal staff for hardware, telecommunications, application, and end-user support.
• Analyze technical and systems components for improvement opportunities across all departments.
• Identify cost-effective or labor saving alternatives using technologies.
• Facilitates year end system close and revaluations.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations, (Participates in external user forums (OTC) to highlight the needs of the mid-size food bank).
• Leading future conversions to cloud-based applications.

• Valid Florida driver’s license.
Specific to Position
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in IT, finance, accounting or related field plus 5 years experience.
• Advanced SQL knowledge.
• Advanced database systems knowledge.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft NAV ERP solutions (GP/NAV) preferred.
• 5-10 years of experience in enterprise system administration.
• 3-5 years of experience in IT project management.
• Advanced networking knowledge.
• Programming knowledge preferred.
• High attention to detail while managing concurrent projects.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
