Connects our organization with donors, bringing awareness to our mission within the product industry. Primarily, ensures a balanced and a steady flow of nutritious food and non-food donations by securing and nurturing donor relationships. Additional responsibilities include, but not limited to sourcing targeted donations for Food Bank Programs, coordinating in and harvesting trade-shows, actively participates on boards, committees, groups, ect., and helping with special events.
Associates degree from an accredited university (Business, Marketing or communications) preferred. Degree preferred or five (5) years' experience in related field. Must be willing to obtain ServSafe certification within first 6 months of employment.
2-3 years first handed marketing, sales, management, brokerage experience and/or retail grocery knowledge.
Strong customer services skills and willingness to assist others. Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files, and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology. Ability to accurately prepare and maintain files, reports and records. Ability to effectively plan and delegate the responsibilities of others. Organizational skills in managing projects simultaneously while maintaining a satisfactory work product. Ability to implement new systems and procedures and to evaluate their effectiveness. Ability to develop, interpret, and evaluate policies and procedures. Skill in public speaking and delivering presentation to individuals and groups. Strong problem-solving abilities. Able to coordinate well with other departments and personnel. Ability to represent the Food Bank in a professional manner under a variety of condition. Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently and to work independently with minimum supervision while utilizing good judgement and discretion.
