This remote role provides expert technical support and people management for CFBNJ Infrastructure team. Working with the CFBNJ Infrastructure team they will develop scripts to automate the delivery of infrastructure for the Service. This role will troubleshoot complex hybrid infrastructure issues including public cloud and on-premise data centers. They will work closely with members of the team to automate infrastructure. They will facilitate upgrades, maintenance, and all other service activities to ensure availability of the service. This role will also assist with establishing the KPIs and proactive monitoring required to demonstrate the service is up and running, accessible, and performing to established SLAs. This role will contribute to the 24x7 support of this service.
Managing the Infrastructure Run Operations, Build activities and Service Desk for the CFBNJ.
Providing mentoring and development opportunities for staff members
Conducting periodic 1:1 meetings with staff to review project status, operational metrics, and ensuring engagement levels remain high.
Conducting annual reviews with staff members to showcase accomplishments and provide feedback on developmental opportunities.
Troubleshooting complex systems crossing multiple technologies and business functions.
Contributing to automating all aspects of the infrastructure build
Working with business and technology teams to establish KPIs and SLAs for proactive monitoring
Creating infrastructure patterns using Public Cloud and On Premise (Hybrid) Infrastructure
Contributing towards Continuous Improvement of Infrastructure Services
Ensuring IA Services (Infrastructure) are at current versions and support levels
Contributing to 24x7 On-Call support for IA Services
Creating/modifying professional technical documentation

At least 7 seven years of relevant experience with Linux, Windows Server, Windows Workstation, SQL, Networking, Security, Open Source Technologies, etc.
Knowledge of general networking services (DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Express Route, etc.)
Experience with automation technologies like WorkFusion or Blue Prism.
Experience with cloud technologies such as Azure (preferred) or AWS
Knowledge of security best practice
Demonstrated skill in critical thinking and problem-solving methods
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university required. Computer Science, Engineering or Information Systems field of study preferred.
