We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Communications and Engagement Lead who will be responsible for designing and implementing a communication strategy to drive employee engagement. Increase flow of communication across the organization and help position CFBNJ as an employer of choice by implementing a well-defined communication strategies. This also includes helping the organization effectively communicate through different channels e.g. intranet, staff newsletter and various staff training and gatherings. Additionally, this role offers a flexible hybrid work schedule opportunity.
Partnering with Marketing & Communications to create a communications plan that keeps employees engaged, recognized, and in-the-know about engagement, recognition, and wellbeing
Create dynamic communications content for both traditional and non-traditional channels to support the organization’s people narrative
Aligning and integrating Human Resources’s communication objectives with the organization’s strategic priorities, through partnership and proactive planning.
Assisting to design and oversee the successful execution of culture-related events and activities.
Overseeing employee engagement activities, working closely with key talent stakeholders to help drive internal and external awareness of company culture, the employee experience, and our people’s stories.
Partnering with Talent Acquisition Lead to design and implement an on-boarding experience that fosters employee engagement and retention.
Supporting the organization’s efforts to ensure excellent staff experience regarding people and culture related topics.
Using feedback from the annual employee engagement survey to shape and inform key communication and engagement activities.
Designing and implementing a continuous listening strategy through pulse surveys, employee focus groups and other experience data to provide meaningful insights
Researching, writing, and producing a variety of print and electronic media including digital content, videos, executive communications, presentations, memos, feature articles
Keeping up to date with employee engagement market trends and developments

Supporting company meetings and other key events for our leaders and staff.
Assisting in implementing health and financial wellness programs and strategies that engage employees across roles and departments.
Driving and promoting comprehensive staff recognition strategies.
Recommending policy changes or enhancements
5+ years of engagement and wellbeing experience. Strong and broad HR background preferred.
Master of written and oral communications.
Advanced working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Strong interpersonal skills; high level of professionalism.
Ability to work with and represent all levels of organization, from senior executive to front-line employees.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
