About the organization

Established in 1980, Roadrunner Food Bank is the leader in the fight against hunger in the state of New Mexico. Roadrunner has 166,000 square feet in its main warehouse in Albuquerque, and 20,000 square feet in its branch warehouse in Las Cruces. The food bank has 17 vehicles, a paid staff of 62 and nearly 10,000 annual volunteers. As the only member of Feeding America in New Mexico, Roadrunner annually distributes more than 30 million pounds of food to a network of hundreds of food pantries, shelters, and soup kitchens statewide. The food bank also distributes food through 4 regional food banks with which it has service contracts.
