Description

The Foundation and Grants Coordinator will provide project and administrative support for the Foundation Relations and Grants Team. This position will be responsible for collaborating with internal development and organizational teams as well as external partners, to facilitate effective implementation and communications for cultivation, stewardship, follow-up, and reporting activities.

Job responsibilities

-Provide ongoing administrative and project support for the Foundation Relations Director and team, including drafting correspondence, preparing meeting agendas, briefs, and notes
-Establish and maintain strong relationships with Food Depository team members to foster a collaborative work environment.
-Serve as front-line member of the Foundation Relations externally (correspondence with foundation and organization partners, acknowledgment letters, etc.) and internally (coordinating with DevOps, finance, MAVEN, and other teams as appropriate, etc.)
-Support the submission of proposals and reports, plus retrieve contact lists and donor reports from Raisers Edge
-Review historic proposals and reports to provide guidance for renewed support
-Generate Word documents using proposal and templates for collaboration with CFO team members
-Support the acknowledgment process for foundation/organization partners, and manage/streamline gift and pledge activity tracking in Raisers Edge
-Assist in the development and implementation of a robust, multichannel engagement strategy and communications plan for institutional partners, including existing and new engagement opportunities
-Provide support for foundation/organization partner visits, tours, and volunteer sessions
-Help maintain a foundation/organization communications calendar, drafting content, tracking milestones, deadlines, and managing assignments for all scheduled emails, events, and strategic communications
-Utilize Raisers Edge database to record and track deadlines, relationship contacts, notes, correspondence or other details
-Route grant agreements for review and signatures
-Collaborate with the Development/Stewardship Operations Team on content for donor engagement materials and communications

-Excellent customer service, organization, and problem-solving skills with demonstrated success in hitting milestones, meeting deadlines, and managing competing priorities
-Strong skills in writing, proofreading, editing, composing, and reformatting documents
-A self-starter and collaborative team player with the ability to navigate dynamic work environments and thrive in a fast-paced environment
-Advanced proficiency in Microsoft products, Raisers Edge
