The Community FoodBank of New Jersey is looking for a Food Sourcing Coordinator to join our Food Sourcing team. As a member of our Food Sourcing team, you will assist in identifying lapsed food donors and coordinating methods of activating these donors.
Using industry databases to identify target organizations
Scheduling donor visits
Developing effective approaches for recognizing donors with documents, certificates, etc.
Regularly traveling throughout an assigned geographical area in New Jersey to visit potential donors (primarily retail stores), to promote the mission of CFBNJ, and assist in identifying food donation opportunities
Some college with at least two years of experience providing customer service or working in a sales environment
Excellent interpersonal skills, solid organizational abilities, and a high degree of professionalism
Experience building relationships preferred
Must be highly proficient in O365 applications
Comfortable with public speaking
Knowledge of data entry and tracking
A valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for site visits
