Job responsibilities

Responsible for the oversight and management of Volunteer Services Department. Includes recruitment, scheduling, training, budgeting, metrics and evaluation of the department. Also includes producing special volunteer events, creating and implementing a volunteer appreciation program, managing the Student Heroes, coordinating with the Apple Corps volunteer team and managing the volunteer scheduling system and database. Responsible for hiring, supervising, training one or more employees.

Application qualifications


Bachelor Degree in Social Work, Communications, Management or related field. Minimum of 2 years related work experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.


Excellent management skills. Ability to work with people from a variety of backgrounds. Excellent verbal and written communication skills/ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. Public speaking skills. Excellent organizational skills. Attention to detail. Ability to coordinate and work effectively with other departments and personnel.
