We are looking for an experienced full-time Customer Service Associate to maintain a consistent, customer friendly, responsive process for Central Pennsylvania Food Bank agency partners.

• Computer skills/use of Primarius software and to master database and reporting systems.
• Knowledge of CPFB products and daily processes.
• Ability to input and maintain accurate records, to perform research, and to compile data.

• Ability to organize work, to set priorities, to exercise independent judgment, and to demonstrate flexibility in balancing the needs of various programs and staff.
• Ability to attend departmental and all-staff meetings as directed, staying informed of ongoing changes in department and overall organization.
• Knowledge of organization’s computer software and systems, including Microsoft Office Suite, department-specific software systems, telecommunications, and internet applications.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment (machines, tools, and devices) used in performing only the essential function include computer and related equipment, calculator, photocopier, fax machine, and telephone.
• Take food orders by phone and enter orders into Primarius software.
• Run daily inventory sheets and end of day reports.
• Produce pick lists in a timely manner to assure sufficient time for warehouse staff to pull orders prior to agency pick-up/delivery.
• Close out orders and apply grants to ensure accuracy of billing, working with Finance on issues or discrepancies.
• Troubleshoot issues as customer-agency complaints occur.
• Provide customer assistance to agency representatives, as needed.
• Schedule agency pick-ups and add-on appointments.
• Process pick tickets for Williamsport orders and create staging reports for shipments to that location, as needed.
• Work closely with agency services to help market/push products to partners picking up orders.
• Print and process MilitaryShare, Fresh Express, and HealthShare orders.
• Assist with creating and maintaining spreadsheets for projects such as, push models to partner, pre-orders for holiday seasons, standing orders, etc.
• Work with agency services department to coordinate The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) Entitlement quantities to TEFAP partner agencies and conduct communications to those partner agencies.
• Assist Senior Programs with Door Dash “store”.
• Alert traditional partners of PASS product, add product to orders, and apply grant funds.
• Participate in internal committees and work groups as required.
• Participate in CPFB’s major events as necessary, i.e. fundraisers, agency-wide events, etc., as well as off-site outreach events and networking.

Application qualifications

Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Combination of education, experience, and/or training that provides the required knowledge and skills for the position.
• Call center experience preferred.
• One or more years’ customer service in a non-profit preferred.
