The Corporate Relations Manager will oversee the organizational strategy for identifying, engaging, and cultivating the growing and dynamic corporate sector in metro Denver, resulting in increased philanthropic support and greater organizational awareness and visibility. The role will also provide support and collaboration to team members in Wyoming and on the Western Slope to help strengthen corporate relationships in these communities. Provide leadership, guidance, strategy, and ownership of Food Bank of the Rockies corporate giving program totaling $2 million.
Identify, cultivate, and solicit major gifts through ownership of a comprehensive portfolio of 150-200 corporate partners by creating strategies to meaningfully engage and expand corporate philanthropic support.
Focus on securing support for priorities that include capital, programmatic, and annual funding.
Actively manage day-to-day relationships with donors and prospects through various activities including meetings, phone calls, letters, reports, e-mail, external/internal event attendance, timely responses to donor inquiries, and gift acknowledgment.
Manage and execute appropriate strategies for the successful cultivation of new prospects and obtaining new engagement, including bringing in potential and current donors to volunteer and/or tour Food Bank of the Rockies.
Work collaboratively across philanthropic teams and the Fund Development Committee to ensure seamless execution and fulfillment of corporate gifts
Develop benchmarks and provide direction in collaboration with the Director of Community Engagement for a robust moves management system to track goals and progress in Raiser’s Edge/NXT database.
Support the Special Events and Promotions Manager in identifying and securing corporate sponsorships for signature events and promotions
Provide direction for the development of collateral materials, print and online publications, as well as recruitment and recognition of corporate donors and event-related sponsorships.
Provide on and offsite support for Food Bank of the Rockies events and activities as needed.
Maintain accurate data in Raiser's Edge for current and prospective corporate and community donors. Track donor engagements, develop reports and monitor program results.
Participate in the creation of annual development team strategic planning and goals
Create and deliver compelling presentations to local corporate leaders, large employee groups, and associations.
Proven ability to manage a robust portfolio and cultivate and solicit major gifts of $50,000 or more.
Ability to earn the confidence of a wide range of internal and external constituents and to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders.
Financial acumen and the ability to discern and interpret financial statements, track against budgets, ensure compliance and tracking of restricted gifts, and translate key financial information to team-members and donors.
Established project management, organizational, analysis, and problem-solving skills.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university or comparable work experience.
5-7 years or more of direct fundraising experience with an emphasis on corporate gifts.
Experience in Raiser’s Edge is highly preferred and at least three years of experience working with donor databases expected
Comfort leading projects, setting priorities, thinking creatively, and working as a collaborative team member and leader
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
