Senior Vice President of Human Resources
Daphne Logan is the Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Feeding America, the largest domestic hunger-relief organization. Logan is responsible for the strategic assessment of Feeding America’s human resource needs, building organizational capacity through staff and leadership development initiatives and providing management direction for the organization’s benefit and compensation program and practices, as well as employee orientation, the performance management program and professional development curriculum.
In addition, Logan oversees recruitment and succession management, prepares the department’s annual budget and ensures that all human resource programs and practices comply with applicable laws and regulations. Her 15 years with Feeding America have yielded improvements in staff development and retention as well as employee satisfaction and engagement for the more than 200 Feeding America employees.
Previously, Logan was the Human Resources Manager at Teachers Academy for Mathematics and Science and worked as an executive search consultant before moving into organizational human resources. She serves on the Board of Trustees for 501(c) Agency Trust, an organization that helps nonprofits navigate the state unemployment tax system, and Nonprofit Workforce Coalition, which works to recruit, prepare and retain the next generation of nonprofit leadership.
Logan graduated from Northwestern University and has held her Senior Professional in Human Resources certification for over 10 years.
