Jaspreet Bindra is the Programs Specialist here at Feeding America specializing in mobile pantries. She recently made a visit to Raleigh, NC and our member Inter-faith Food Shuttle. This is the third part of a series where she talks about her visit.

Ms. Joy X has been working at the Benson Area Medical Center for 33 years and has recently moved into the role of administrator and she now oversees this distribution and had this to say about her experience.

Once all the clients cleared out and we said our goodbye to the staff we looked at the empty truck headed back to the food bank. Kia, Tradell and I got in Kia's car and used our 35 minute drive back to Raleigh to discuss their experience with these distributions and we all agreed that the feeling of seeing an empty truck on its way to the food bank gave us all a sense a satisfaction and made us feel like we were part of something good that day.

I look forward to my next site visit at another food bank but for now Interfaith Food Shuttle reigns supreme in my heart.
