The child nutrition bill will expire on September 30 of this year. Unfortunately, nobody in Congress or the White House is talking about it. We need to do something about that.
The stakes are high, so we need to make sure Members of Congress are hearing from us early and often. That starts now.
We believe that a strong child nutrition bill, which funds programs like school lunch, school breakfast, summer and after school meal programs, and WIC can be a big step forward in achieving our mission of a hunger-free America. It’s an opportunity to bring both parties together to pass a bill that invests in our children’s futures and strengthens our country.Hunger in the News , Advocacy
