I know many parents will agree with me that as a parent, they can’t imagine a world where their kids don’t have enough to eat, or where they didn’t have enough energy to succeed.
As a new employee at Feeding America, I am grateful for the opportunity to volunteer. It was great to ground myself in our mission and who we truly are working for at the end of the day.
Food Lion Feeds donated more than 155 million meals to our Feeding America member food banks and agencies. To accomplish the goal, Food Lion is engaging customers, associates and other community organizations.

Recently, 19 members of the University of Texas at Austin chapter of Lambda Chi Alpha attended a service event at the Capital Area Food Bank, our chapter’s local Feeding America member food bank
For outstanding effort to rebuild and reclaim stability in South Carolina, a big "shout out" to the more than 60 bloggers hailing from cities near and far and General Mills. Together they rallied to help donate more than 1000 boxes of cereal to Harvest Hope Food Bank – a member of Feeding America.
January is National Soup Month, and so we wanted to take a moment to recognize what soup means to the Feeding America network and also to recognize the generous donors who help us provide nutritious soup to people in need.
