Spiritual Gangster Donates 10 Million Meals

September 29, 2017

More than 10 million meals have been provided to people in need across the country since the clothing company, Spiritual Gangster, began giving to Feeding America® in 2011.

Donations from Spiritual Gangster started in partnership with the 100 Million Meals Challenge led by author, entrepreneur and life coach Tony Robbins and continues to gain momentum as an ongoing movement to end hunger in America. In honor of Hunger Action MonthTM, Spiritual Gangster is doubling the meal donation for every item sold on spiritualgangster.com.

“We believe that no person should go hungry, and every person has the right to food and shelter,” said Spiritual Gangster CEO Ian Lopatin. With an astounding one in eight people in America struggling with hunger, he adds, “We can do something to end this epidemic by donating meals, educating our community, and empowering one another to make a social impact.”

Lopatin continues, “With missions aligned, a partnership with Feeding America is a natural fit. After researching countless charities, we value the organization’s structure, transparency, and how donations truly serve meals and their millions of recipients. Additionally, Feeding America is a powerful advocate on many diverse media platforms and is well equipped to help end hunger in America.”

Feeding America is a nationwide network of 200 food banks that leads the fight against hunger in the United States. Together, through the network and the 60,000 food pantries and meal programs in communities across the country, they provide more than 4 billion meals to 46 million people each year.
