For the sixth consecutive year, Feeding America® and Bank of America are partnering on the Give A Meal program to raise funds to feed people who struggle with hunger. For every $1 donated through Give A Meal, the Bank of America Charitable Foundation will give $2 more, and 100% of the funds donated by an individual online will be directed to local food banks based on donor zip code or to Feeding America. This 2:1 match means every dollar provides 33 meals* to local communities this holiday season.
Give a Meal is a promotional campaign of Feeding America® with the goal to help provide meals to families in need. All donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
Donations designated to "Feeding America" will support Feeding America’s mission to feed individuals and families facing hunger and engage our country in the fight to end hunger. Gifts designated to "Your Local Food Bank" will benefit the food bank served by the billing zip code entered by the donor. If more than one food bank serves the territory of the donor’s billing zip code, the donation will benefit each food bank equally. All donations, including the Bank of America Charitable Foundation’s matching donations, will go to the Feeding America network (the Feeding America National Office, or affiliated local food banks). For individual donations made to Feeding America through the Give a Meal™ program before December 31, 2017, the Foundation will match each donation (up to $1,000 per donor) two-to-one, with a maximum total Foundation donation of up to $50,000 to any individual local food bank, and an aggregate maximum Foundation donation of up to $1,500,000 for all Feeding America programs.
