Corporate Philanthropy Manager (CPM) position available in Pembroke Park, Florida.
• Design, implement, and manage a comprehensive, proactive development plan focused on expanding and enhancing corporate and corporate foundation relationships by directing and coordinating activities related to obtaining corporate and corporate foundation monetary support. • Identify current and emerging business leadership and industry trends with an emphasis on developing high value-exchange corporate alliances and identify, evaluate, cultivate and solicit five figure (and sometimes six figure) philanthropic contributions to support the mission and goals of FSF. • Maintain a robust portfolio of contacts with corporate and corporate foundation representatives, creating solicitation plans related to them, and compelling presentations and comprehensive fundraising proposals. • Monitor proposal deadlines, prepare and edit proposals, and manage proposal submissions. • Work closely with Philanthropy, Community Engagement, and Communications team members to build awareness opportunities and giving incentives for corporations and corporate foundations, including event sponsorships, cause-marketing opportunities, and employee giving campaigns. • Initiate opportunities for the Vice President and President & CEO of FSF, to cultivate and develop relationships with corporate and corporate foundation prospects. • Maintain high quality stewardship process for active corporate and corporate foundation prospect and donors. Ensure that stewardship and reporting requirements are met to sustain successful partnerships by maintaining detailed records of solicitation activities. • Ensure all contacts and information is up to date in FSF’s CRM system, and reports are accurate and completed in a timely manner.
• Bachelor’s Degree (CFRE certification preferred). • A minimum of five years demonstrated successful corporate and/or foundation fundraising experience, including multi-year commitments, event sponsorships, and programmatic support. • Knowledge of cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies and techniques, particularly in the areas of corporate and foundation fundraising techniques. • Demonstrated knowledge of methods, practices and procedures for obtaining information about the giving programs of corporations and foundations. • Ability to initiate and build relationships with prospective corporate and foundation donors, and interact via telephone and in person with institutional representatives. • Excellent persuasive writing, interpersonal, networking, presentation, and negotiation skills to relate to large groups as well as individuals. • Self-motivated, innovative, and can work with considerable independence within the context of an overall strategy, team environment, and a variety of stakeholders. • Ability to handle a variety of projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and completion in a timely manner. • Ability to maintain a high level of poise and professionalism in all circumstances. • Knowledge of AFP, BBB, and CFRE guidelines and policies. • Highly literate in Microsoft Office Products (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.) and CRM software (Raiser’s Edge NXT preferred). • Commitment and adherence to organization mission and values.

The Corporate Philanthropy Manager (CPM) is responsible for increasing Feeding South Florida’s (FSF) fundraising efforts through the growth, expansion, and retention of all corporate and corporate foundation accounts. The CPM is responsible for researching, identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding corporations and corporate foundations. The CPM strengthens existing corporate relationships, develops new ones, and establishes long-term partnerships that result in funding for the immediate and long-term goals of FSF.
