TLC, the basic cable and satellite television network owned by Discovery Communications, began its partnership with Feeding America in 2011. TLC has supported Feeding America by helping to elevate the issue of hunger in the U.S. with on-air and social media mentions as well as website inclusion. TLC’s newest national multiplatform campaign, “Give A Little TLC,” launched in September 2015 in conjunction with Hunger Action Month to benefit Feeding America, the first of several partner charities.

As part of the campaign TLC turned many of their TV and web properties orange (the official color of hunger relief), included Feeding America in on-air promotions, and created a TV PSA featuring the Cake Boss Buddy Valastro. The PSA in support of Feeding America was released live on-air during the premier of Cake Boss’ newest season. TLC has also hosted several volunteer events at Feeding America member food banks across the country, featuring TLC talent TV show talent from 7 Little Johnstons, Breaking Amish, D.C. Cupcakes, Say Yes to the Dress Atlanta, Labor Games and Little People, Big World.
