Produce for Kids® returns in 2016 for a new iteration of their cause campaign in which they will collaborate with grocery retail partners for the spring, summer and fall. Produce for Kids campaigns to raise funds for Feeding America member food banks.
Partner retailers will include ACME Markets, Associated Wholesale Grocers Oklahoma, Price Chopper and Publix. This campaign is supported by a variety of fresh fruit and vegetable suppliers, representing most major categories of fresh produce.
Fruit and vegetable sponsors supporting the retail campaigns will supply funds raised for Produce for Kids to benefit Feeding America food banks based on either sales of sponsored and promoted produce during the campaign, or a flat fee.
In addition, Produce for Kids executes a fully digital Power Your Lunchbox Pledge campaign during the back to school timeframe where fruit and vegetable sponsors collectively donate $1 for every pledge taken during the campaign.
