Delta Air Lines

As a global carrier, Delta is committed to increasing the sustainability of communities around the world. Earlier this year, the airline announced it will contribute 1 percent of its net income from the previous year to key charitable organizations.

As part of Delta’s commitment to give back, on Giving Tuesday this year, Delta Air Lines will contribute $250,000 to six non-profit organizations, including Feeding America—for a total of $1.5 million on Giving Tuesday.

This #GivingTuesday, Food Lion will celebrate the season of giving with the gift of food. For the third year in a row, Food Lion Feeds, the philanthropic arm of Food Lion, will make a $10,000 donation, or 110,000 meals, to Feeding America®. The donation also supports the company’s “Holidays Without Hunger” in-store campaign.

This #GivingTuesday, Gilt invites customers to join them in supporting Feeding America. From November 29 through December 6, Gilt will match every donation made on Gilt.com dollar for dollar, up to $10,000.

In addition, they are planning to use #MyGivingStory with a few of their executives in the weeks following #GivingTuesday to share more personally why they support Feeding America.
