Manages financial development and reporting; oversees staff development and support; leads the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of ongoing programs to improve the quality and the quantity of food available to MGCFB member agencies; serves as the MGCFB public spokesperson.
Bachelor’s degree. Ideal candidate has 10 to 15 years of progressively responsible experience in management/leadership roles in a food bank or similar non profit. Proven track record of leadership, fundraising and program management in an organization of comparable complexity.

Middle Georgia Community Food Bank was established in 1983 and has grown to serve over 6.3M meals per year in 24 surrounding counties of central Georgia. It is poised to grow in the immediate future and seeks an energetic leader who is willing to encourage and facilitate that leap forward.
The Executive Director of Middle Georgia Community Food Bank is responsible for the overall administration and management of the Middle Georgia Community Food Bank (MGCFB), including programs, fundraising, and business operations. Areas of responsibility include planning and evaluation, policy development and administration, personnel and fiscal management, and public relations.
The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Feeding America contractual obligations as well as AIB requirements.
