Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible for performing repair or general maintenance work of facilities, buildings, grounds and equipment including electrical, carpentry, plumbing, masonry and painting tasks.
  • Responsible for repairing and treating structures such as floors, sinks, walls, carpets and roofs.
  • Responsible for changing filters on ventilation, heating and air conditioning units.
  • Responsible for servicing equipment and preventative maintenance tasks as assigned
  • Reporting any mechanical/maintenance issues to Facilities & Fleet Manager.
  • Exercising discretion to identify projects that need higher skilled crafts and trade services to perform work.
  • Responsible for directing volunteers in sanitation efforts throughout the facility
  • Responsible for cutting grass, weed eating, and other grounds functions as assigned
  • Other Duties as assigned
Application Qualifications
  • Ability to use efficiently various power and hand tools.
  • Ability to operate a forklift.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Communicate efficiently and fluently in both written and oral form.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Box truck driving experience a plus
  • Must be computer competent

This is a full time exempt position with competitive salary and benefits, including: vacation, sick leave, health insurance & 401k.

Additional Information

Facilities Associate’s  job is to perform a routine and extensive range of work in the repair, general maintenance and sanitation of facilities, buildings and equipment under the supervision of the Facilities and Fleet Manager and Warehouse Manager. Managing Volunteer support, they are responsible for assigned sanitation functions of the facility under direction of the Warehouse Manager. They must work responsibly without direct supervision. They execute work within established procedures and processes under both verbal and written instructions.
